| These images show the flanged connections where the fit must be made in this practical examination. The flanges are labeled "A", "B", and "C". Each student will be assigned a spool piece of a specified length to attach to one of the flanges. A measurement will also be assigned from the face of the flange that attaches to flange "C" (the one on the extreme left in photo # 7345) to the center of the tee. With that information, the student will be responsible to take measurements that will make the fit between the flanged connections. A tee will be rolled at an angle determined by measurements taken and make a 90 degree turn that will attach to the highest flange. See the assignment specification sheet for further details. |
