This image shows a number of deductions. The threads emerging from the tee and entering the gate valve are imporperly cut. Ragged threads should be avoided when installing threaded systems help eliminate leaks. Even though the threads emerging from the other side of the gate valve are properly cut (in appearance), proper wrench engagement has not been applied. Proper wrench engagement has been applied to both side of the check valve because two to three threads are left showing.
