ELC111-95  Basic Electricity I
 

Studies the principles of direct current electricity, focusing on the theoretical concepts of direct current circuits and instruments as they apply to electrical and electronic components and equipment.  Prerequisite: MAT 013 or permission

ELC112-95  Basic Electricity II
 

Considers the principles of alternating current electricity, focusing on the theoretical concepts of alternating current circuits, as they apply to electrical and electronic components and equipment.  Prerequisite: ELC111 with grade of C or better or permission

ELC121-95  2008 National Electrical Code (45 hour)

 

Reviews the code rules found in the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, to ensure safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment. Prerequisite: High School Diploma, GED or permission

ELC132-95  Electronics II
 

Presents the principles of electronics from the perspective of digital devices. Particular emphasis is placed on  TTL and CMOS logic.  Prerequisite: ELC 112 or permission

ELC151-95  Controls I
 

Addresses concepts, materials, diagrams, and circuits relative to residential wiring applications, along with appropriate National Electrical Code articles. Prerequisite: ELC 112 with grade of C or better or permission

CED326-25  2008 National Electrical Code 15-hour Update
