Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC) provides two different electrical programs.

• Electrical & Automation Technology is a two-year Associates Degree program that prepares students for exciting and well-paying career paths in the field of industrial control and automation.  Graduates of this program can step right into industry as an electromechanical technician or matriculate into the University of Maine's Electrical Engineering Technology program.  Classes are offered during the day in the Fall/Spring semester.
• The Electricians Technology program provides students with the classroom hours required by the State of Maine for electrical licensing.  Classes are offered in the evening in the Fall/Spring semester.  Some of the classes are offered online as well.
• For Continuing Education for electricians, we offer the 2008 NEC Update online.
